Hi Lovelies, it is Medal update time!!!
The Ring of Kerry was a 200KM walk, 130kms of it walked in the Rollie Bolts.

I was hoping to wear the Rollie Bolts all through winter, but they are too light and my poor feeties got wet and cold in my daily walks. So I started using the Westland Montreal High top Sneakers, as they are water resistant, warm, have good grip and that super important zip to get them off and on easily.

But, the running tally for the Rollie Bolts is….. 307kms this year, so $169 divided by 307KMs = $0.55 per KM. WOW!!!!
The Montreals are a bigger investment for a walk at $240 (NOW $145), so $240 divided by 70KMs = $3.43 per KM. Not bad, will have to get a few more kms done in these fabulous high tops to prove to you all REAL value for money.

Next up on the walking for rehab/getting medals for doing what I’m supposed to be doing, is the Trek to Petra which is 65KM. A nice small trek after a BIG walking goal.
